This typographic treatment is given a bold and attention grabbing color treatment, and, in my opinion, is supposed to look similar to stage lights, or something very flashy and "showy". There aren't many people more flashy and "showy" than Bootsy Collins -- the namesake associated with the picture. Bootsy is known for his funkiness, but to be honest, I would have given the typography a different color scheme; something purple. This typeface may be Impact, or Impact Bold.
